NOTICE FOR COVID-19 ADJUSTMENTS

The Acts Ministry employment/financial structure is essentially the same as traditional brick and mortar churches that receive tithes and offerings to support the church. The difference is that the Acts Ministry does not have the same overhead and expenses as a traditional brick and mortar church such as worship facilities, furniture, sound, lighting, and office equipment because we focus on a one-on-one or small group discipleship and meet in our private homes, coffee shops, and other venues; and disciple others on the Acts Legacy Group private social media (spiritual media) web site "Ministry Feed." Also, we utilize phone, webcam, email, and social media; so we have minimal overhead costs and actually reach more un-churched and unsaved.

Discipleship multiplication is the biblical solution to financially support lay ministry in our local churches from outside the church walls. The need for small group leadership with passionate discipleship activities is fulfilled in the Acts Ministry simply by doing what Jesus has commanded; and not just for a season but for the rest of our time on earth.

With Ministry Certification we are able to offer our disciplers (ministers) salaries

and provide ministry expense accounts and also increase the tithing to our local church, for simply responding to what Jesus has commanded, to make disciples;

and again, not just for a season but for the rest of our time on earth.

This is also why our full-time ministers receive a lifetime of financial support for serving in a lifestyle of discipleship.

If you have a passion to volunteer at your local church, lead a small group, discipleship through social media,

or even organize a few Brothers and Sisters for a sports and recreation ministry,

then make your passion a career for Christ and apply for the Acts Ministry financial support you need

to utilize Acts in your current discipleship ministry or develop a new Acts discipleship ministry.

Biblical Discipleship Methodology

Brief Overview

Please review the "Acts Training and Employment Document" prior to Applying for ministry.

 

I. Obey Christ. Begin your ONLINE discipleship training and certification. Acts will appoint a Mentor for you to connect with and answer your questions and be there for you either on the Ministry Feed, by cell phone, or in-person if possible. If you are not making disciples here then seek where the Lord is leading you, however, our research shows there is not any other formal discipleship ministry that complies with all of the needed elements to God's Great Commission; including God's command to multiply disciples, using God's money for His purpose, become unified, providing for each other.

NOTICE: Acts appoints new Disciples for you to mentor; provides an expense account that each Minister may use during their continued ministry training as funding becomes approved in general accordance with the Seniority (Application date), employment reviews, and individual real-life experiences. The Expense Account and salaries are subsequent to the "Minister" employment position. The Acts' initial training and certifications can increase your practical leadership experience and in most cases provide more opportunities in church employment than expensive college degrees.

II. Part-Time Discipleship. Next, you and your mentor begin leading your own online Small Group Discipleship Ministry (Legacy Groups) either one-on-one or in a variety of small group settings. New disciples are appointed to you from Acts according to your date of Application, gender preference, not those invited by you; and then simply begin mentoring your Personal Disciples (according to the Acts training program). This and other ministry work qualifies you for employment with a part-time salary; and upon your approval, Acts will provide a Biblical tithing to your local church on your behalf. Further, you will need to begin developing a local small group bible study, or one weekly or monthly community outreach that could be any faith-based activity that you are passionate about. 

  

III. Full-Time Discipleship. With appointments of 12 Personal Disciples online you may then choose to become a full-time employee and request a daily ministry where you convert your most passionate activities into a ministry. Your salary is increased as a full-time Minister with additional salaries and benefits. These salary increases are to support additional small group weekly and/or monthly community outreach and/or volunteer work at your local church.

Ministry of Discipleship Summary 

 

ACT I - TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS

Required) Submit Application for Ministerial Certification/Licentiate

Upon completion) Receive Master Discipleship Licentiate

All training and Licentiate and Certifications are available to prepare the Christian for church leadership and small group discipleship mentoring. All Christians are encouraged to become trained disciples and ready to evangelize and mentor (disciple) others. Many churches are looking for volunteer leaders or possibly career positions. Acts Certification is a complete training program including actual practical experience that could be more important to a Christian employer than expensive bible college degrees. Acts will request a small training fee of only $38/week for 12 weeks of focused training. The Acts Discipleship Minister Certification will also qualify the student for employment with Acts.

If the discipleship minister applies to Acts for employment he/she will be accepted under the following discipleship employment terms and conditions and additional advanced training required for advancements are at no cost. Please note that just as we support our church leadership Acts employees are expected to tithe a portion of their compensation to their local church and tithe a minimum of $100/month to the Acts ministry depending on the scope of volunteer services and the Lord's calling.

EMPLOYMENT - ADVANCED MINISTRY TRAINING AND BENEFITS (Overview): 

All promotions and compensation are approved by the Acts administration according to employment guidelines and employee reviews.

Employees will begin under the Introductory Period of 30-60 days prior to W4 status. Compensation is based on Biblical teaching for "double honor" for Discipleship Ministers of Christ.  

 

ACT II - PART-TIME POSITIONS:

Acts Discipleship Minister

Required) Submit Employment Application (Acts Discipleship Minister Certification is required for approval)

Appointments) Accept Appointments/Responsibility of 3 new Acts disciples to be mentored and written proposal for one new local ministry and/or volunteer for church services or community outreach program (receive monthly expense account $150/month)

Required) Temperament Testing and Pastoral Review (to receive approval for additional appointments)

Appointments) Accept Appointment of 3 additional Personal Disciples, complete the Small Group Leadership Certification, and lead or volunteer in one monthly outreach ministry or local church service (P/T salary base $300-$500/monthly ministry support - average 5 hours per week @ $20/hour)

Promotion) Small Group Leader 

Appointments) Accept Appointment of 3 additional Disciples; mentor your Personal Disciples and activate 2 monthly outreach or ministry programs or 1 weekly outreach or local church services (P/T salary base $700-$900/month ministry support - average 7 hours per week @ $29/hour)

Promotion) Overseer Position

Development)  continue to lead or volunteer in 2 monthly outreach or ministry programs or 1 weekly outreach or local church service. Complete the Christian Leadership Certification.

Appointments T33 LG disciples) Accept Co-Mentor oversight responsibility of your Legacy Groups online and Additional Co-Mentoring appointments

ACT III - FULL-TIME POSITIONS:

Promotion) Ordained Minister 

Required) Complete the Acts Ministry Ordainment Certification and accept responsibility of additional Co-Mentoring appointments for your Legacy Groups. Continue to lead or volunteer in 2 monthly outreach or ministry programs or 1 weekly outreach or local church service

(minimum compensation $3,500/month salary plus benefits* - average 25 hours per week @ $35/hour)

Appointments T72 LG disciples) Additional Co-Mentoring appointments and maintain local ministries.

Promotion) Certified Christian Counselor

Required) Complete a Professional Christian Counseling Certification (30 to 90 days training mentored by an experienced senior counselor) 

Appointments T84 LGdisciples) Additional Co-Mentoring appointments (compensation: minimum $5,000/month salary plus benefits* average 30 hours/week @ $42/hour) Professional Practice support - Option to become a practicing Christian Counselor with Professional Practice support - Website, Business Cards, Acts Email, etc. (This position may require additional educational background and/or state licensing - counseling fees schedules and revenues are directed by Acts administration).

Promotion) Elder Position

Required) Begin Personal Debt Elimination program (Biblical process to pay off all personal debts including all debts that are a negative return on the loan or have any stress-related effects on your family) Free faith-based financial advice and financial planning. 

Appointments T120 disciples) Accept Appointments to complete a total of 10 Acts Legacy Groups; launch a local community outreach ministry project of the Minister's calling and pre-approved by the Acts Board of Elders. Complete the Acts Bachelor of Discipleship Ministries Certification

(minimum compensation $84,000/year salary plus benefits**)

Promotion) Apostle Position

Required) Complete the Master Leadership Certification (1 to 6 months)

Appointments T144 disciples) Accept Appointments and Co-Mentoring of personal Legacy Groups 

Apostle Position will require light travel, optional church or para-church planting, optional missional work, or other ministerial services as called by The Holy Spirit and confirmed by the Board of Elders (minimum compensation $108,000/year salary plus benefits**)

* Employee Benefits begin for all Ordained Ministers with a Christian Health Care Plan, Paid Vacations, Debt Elimination Services, Mission Support Services, and other benefits as announced on this site.

** Additional benefits include Board of Elders Membership with voting rights, paid travel to all church formal events, and other benefits as voted for by the Board of Elders. Salaries will then continue for the life of the Minister whether healthy or disabled as long as the Minister is living a lifestyle that is biblically sound and making every effort to serve their Legacy Groups to the best of their ability.

SPECIFIC MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS:

 

Attention:

Discipleship Training and Certifications with mentee appointments are offered to every Christian for very small tuition; to prepare you for Christian Leadership positions at your church and small group ministry development outside the church.

The Discipleship Minister Certifications and ordainment also qualify Christians for employment placement right here with the Acts Ministry as designated under the Acts Employment Application and Agreement.

 

New Employee Applicants should not be intimidated by the titles, salaries, or ministry duties. This is lay ministry discipleship that every passionate believer is capable of doing and excelling in the highest position.

Ministry Salaries are earned and cannot be discontinued unless there is evidence of a lifestyle that is inconsistent with the Christian faith and/or a pattern of disconnect from the Minister's Legacy Group. A mentor will be in a lifestyle practice of discipleship to help their personal disciples with any personal challenges to help protect them repent and continue their lifestyle in service to their mentees, their community, and their local church. Salaries and benefits will continue for the life of the employment, and continue if disabled, called to missional travel, through paid holidays, through paid vacations, and preapproved needed family time is paid time. Ministers are not in need of early retirement as they are called to maintain their service to 12 Disciples for life. This is the calling for a true Disciple of Christ. We can always stay connected and serve our disciples well into our senior years. When we are no longer physically or mentally capable of serving, Acts will continue the salaries at the same annual amount that was being earned at the time of retirement. 

 

As a new Acts Disciple begin attending and connecting on-line with your Mentor (on the Legacy Group link) and the small group ministry that you may have been invited to join. Login to your personal Legacy Group and enjoy the on-line "Ministry Feed" Mentoring, Weekly Discipleship Training, Unlocking Scripture Keys and sharing your revelations with your Legacy Group. Discipleship Ministers can enjoy literally hundreds of diverse ministry practices and learn to simply invite Jesus to join you, right where you are, in your own life, in your own passionate activities. Jesus gave you your passions and simply wants to be your closest friend.

Discipleship is the art and practice of inclusion (including Him in all of our favorite activities). When we become servants to our Legacy Group and include Jesus, He will activate the power of the Holy Spirit and send blessings. His motive for the unity of the Saints is accomplished in Acts Ministry, an interdenominational ministry that already includes many different church denominations.

We need to be re-charged each week at our own Local Church, for Praise and Worship and Bible-based preaching messages to share with our Legacy Group. Acts is the ministry beyond the Sunday service and keeps us connected with Christ every day.

As you remain connected with your Legacy Group leaders through your own Login on the web site link there will be new members appointed to your Legacy Group. You will enjoy meeting Brothers and Sisters from around the world as they also make an application for Acts Ministry. You will always have assistance from your Mentor, Co-Mentor and/or an Acts Leader on any type of calls as we "go out in two's" welcoming new disciples and introduce the Acts Ministry to others. We at Acts believe that we have a responsibility to share this awesome ministry of discipleship with all our Christian Brothers and Sisters. Activating our faith brings us a sense of service to Christ and a stronger sense of our assurance of salvation by faith in Christ. Discipleship multiplication is our expression of love for our Brothers and Sisters and also at every moment, we serve others we also love on our Lord Jesus. (1 John 5:12-13; James 2:14-24) 

Certified Minister Positions (Part-Time Positions are 5 to 10 hours per week)

Subsequent to the new member application process, the Acts Member will become a Certified Minister and contract employee by completing their Spiritual Gifts Testing, completing their first 7 Scripture Keys, and receiving an Email notice of completion from their Mentor and/or Co-Mentor.

According to the Minister's Seniority position (date of member/employment application/acceptance) Acts will provide a monthly expense account that each Active Member may use for documented ministry services such as travel, fellowship, cell phone bill, auto expenses, etc., during their quest for promotions in the Acts Ministry Service Employment. This position is generally part-time while mentoring their first 3 disciples.

Upon Certification as a Minister, you will receive appointments and/or you may personally invite your own Christian spouse, adult children, friends, etc. These new members may be appointed to other mentors unless expressly listing you as the Mentor on their application. Once there are 3 new Members/Disciples appointed as your Personal Disciples, you are then qualified for the Monthly Expense Account* of $150 to support your chosen ministry for Cell Phone, Meals, Auto expenses, or any legitimate ministry expense. 

Notice: For those members making the leveraged "tuition" contributions of $15, their weekly Offerings will discontinue and the minimum $28/week for Acts Membership will be deducted from the expense account. No more fees needed. No books to buy. 

No classes or programs to pay for. Just keep serving your Legacy Group and respond to your Mentor each day.

Once you have been appointed 7 Personal Disciples, and they have completed their Ministry Certification, you will be qualified for ministry support of $500/month and the support will increase to $700/month when the part-time Minister has been appointed a total of 12 Personal Disciples to mentor. 

 

Part-time positions will continue as you lead your Personal 12 Disciples to also develop their own Legacy Groups. Once you are leading 3 Legacy Groups you will qualify for a monthly salary of $2,000. You may also request additional ministry support from time to time as the Lord calls you for certain outreach or other community or family needs. 

 

Full-time positions begin when completing the Acts Ordained Minister Certification and appointments of 2 additional Legacy Groups which will qualify for $3,500 as a monthly salary. When you have been appointed and developed 7 Legacy Groups you will be trained and certified as a Professional Certified Christian Counselor with promotion and qualification for a monthly salary of $5,000. (Optional) If you receive a calling to provide Family Christian Counseling outside your Personal Legacy Group then Acts will provide a professional web site for advertising in your local area with professional consulting, business forms, and training to become a professional family and marriage counselor. Your salaries will be increased to include the hourly rate of $45 to $125 per session less the cost of liability insurance and other costs incurred by Acts directly related to your practice. 

The Elder Position. Persevere with your full-time Acts discipleship ministry; serving at your church, reaching out to your community, passionate with your favorite sports and recreation activities ministry. Accept new appointments in your Legacy Groups to serve 10 Legacy Groups and qualify for a salary promotion and benefits as an Elder of Acts Ministry.

The Apostle (Messanger) Position. when you complete the Acts Master Discipleship Certification and are managing, leading, and discipling 12 Acts Legacy Groups. Be blessed with a lifetime ministry with your lifetime salary promotion to $9,000 per month plus health care and other benefits, knowing that you are ready for God to call you ANYWHERE - ANYTIME and Acts will be supporting you to follow God's calling!

1. SPIRITUAL GIFTS TESTING WITH PASTORAL WRITTEN REVIEW AND PROFESSIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

The Acts Spiritual Gifts Assessment helps individuals identify their God-given gifts for living faithfully as Christian disciples day by day and find meaningful ways to use their gifts in connection with others through the community of faith. This process helps people understand the nature of spiritual gifts and ways to enhance the effectiveness of their gifts by linking together with others (Discipleship).

 

2. PERSONAL TEMPERAMENT PROFILE – Discover how God made you and understand how He wants to use your strengths and weaknesses. This is a professionally written profile of your deepest human traits for social/intellectual needs, controlling needs, and love/affection needs; plus those closest to you will see you the way God sees you – the way He created you.

 

3. Training and Minister Certification to develop a greater spiritual connection with Christ, unlock scripture keys** for inspiration and revelation from the Holy Spirit, leading small groups, and qualify for Acts Discipleship Ministry Employment with salaries and benefits as designated by the Seniority (Time of Enrollment Application submission) and according to the Acts promotions and salaries plan.

5. BECOME A CERTIFIED CHRISTIAN COUNSELOR (Earn two incomes from the same ministry!)

Do you have a passion for helping others as a Christian Counselor? The Acts program will train you and prepare you for a professional career as a pastoral counselor or Christian Counselor with an oversight of your clients during a clinical and practical on-the-job training certification. Learn creation therapy techniques and cognitive solutions focused counseling. You will be tested for professionalism and confidentiality issues to prepare you for a rewarding career as you disciple other Christians and teach them to also move quickly away from their own trials by serving others (Discipleship Multiplication).  

 

6. ORDAINMENT:

If you have ever had a friend or family member in need and not quite known what do to do help, becoming ordained is a really good step in the right direction.
Being ordained by the Acts Ministry is a statement that says you are willing and able to advance your Christian faith, and in turn, help those around you. People in your family and your community need good role models and you could be this person for them, as you become ordained through your own chosen ministry.
Acts Ministers are ordained through an advanced process of Unlocking the Scripture Keys, and specific training that will prepare you for a professional ordainment. This is not just an internet paid ordainment. Ministers are provided the best training in their journey as official ministers. Acts leadership will provide the tools and support to assure the successful ministry career.

 

7. PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT: Full Time Certified Ministers receive professional Acts "Minister" business cards at their employment promotion, including Acts Ministry personalized email account, professional web site for Certified Christian Counselors and Ordained Ministers, and other promotional materials as they become available. (Acts Business cards with your new title provided at each designated promotion)

UNLOCKING YOUR 7 SCRIPTURE KEYS - Preview

(Isaiah 22:22; Matthew 16:19; 18:19, John 20:23; Revelation 3:7)

Jesus opened the Apostles minds to understand the scriptures! (Luke 24:44-53)

• The process of unlocking 7 Scripture Keys and becoming certified is a spiritual process between you, The Holy Spirit, your Acts Mentor, Pastor, & Legacy Group. 

• Each scripture passage or verse will be applicable to the specific ministry position, your current spiritual walk, and your life coaching/mentoring needs. 

• The specific verse or passage to be studied and meditated on will become evident through the Mentor, Co-Mentor, an Associate Pastor, and/or the Acts Lead Pastor, as they meditate and pray for God's inspiration in your life. At each position a minimum of 3 scripture references (Keys) will be according to your local church services message as provided by the pastor/preacher.

• Each Disciple/Minister will continue to be given weekly scriptures from their assigned Mentor to meditate on and write a short essay in response to their own revelation from the Holy Spirit. Copies of their response will go to the Lead Pastor and Co-Mentor for possible assistance with Unlocking a Key message from The Holy Spirit.

• The Disciple/Minister will be in consistent review of her/his own Bible study and spiritual training from their Mentor(s); while then preparing to mentor her/his own appointed disciplees and lead their own small group(s) which may be 2 or more; in person, on-line, or other venues as pre-approved by the Acts administration.
