Does the Bible require Tithing and Offerings?
We believe in being good stewards of what God has given us. We also believe in being cheerful and giving with those resources. God wants us to be faithful, no matter how little or much we have. The New Testament teaches over and over about being faithful with what you have been given. 2 Corinthians 8–9 shows us eight principles on generous giving:

Relationally, Generous giving is sacrificial and brings us closer to Christ and to the cross.

Disciplinary, Generous giving is something that not all people are spiritually gifted for, and need to practice good stewardship.

Feeling Complete, Generous giving is a gospel message for being blessed as givers.

In Unity, Generous giving encourages churches to unify with other churches and support ministries in need.

In Feeding the Poor, Generous giving is motivated by friendly competition (Paul challenges the Corinthian church to match the impoverished Macedonian church).

In Trusting God, Generous giving is about sowing and reaping.

In Witnessing, Generous giving is one of the many evidences that someone is truly a Christian.

Theologically, Generous giving promotes the worship of Jesus as God.

The Acts Spiritual Gifts Assessment helps individuals identify their God-given gifts for living faithfully as Christian disciples day by day and find meaningful ways to use their gifts in connection with others through the community of faith. This process helps people understand the nature of spiritual gifts and ways to enhance the effectiveness of their gifts by linking together with others (Discipleship).

Personal Temperament – Discover how God made you and understand how He wants to use your strengths and weaknesses. This is a four to five page professional written profile of your deepest human traits for social needs, controlling needs, and affection needs; plus those closest to you will see you the way God sees you – the way He created you.

BECOME A CERTIFIED CHRISTIAN COUNSELOR (Earn two incomes from the same ministry)
Do you have a passion for helping others as a Christian Counselor? The Acts program will train you and prepare you for a professional career as a pastoral counselor or Christian Counselor with an oversight of your clients during a clinical and practical on-the-job training certification. Learn creation therapy techniques and cognitive solutions focused counseling. You will be tested for professionalism and confidentiality issues to prepare you for a rewarding career as you disciple other Christians and teach them to also move quickly away from their own trials by serving others (Discipleship Multiplication).

ORDAINMENT:
If you have ever had a friend or family member in need and not quite known what do to do help, becoming ordained is a really great step to provide professional care and will provide you with amazing opportunities.
Being ordained by the Acts is a statement that says you are willing and able to advance your Christian faith, and in turn help those around you. People in your family and your community need good role models and you could be this person for them, as you become ordained through your ministry at Acts.
Acts Ministers who have accomplished the Counselor position are ordained as Discipleship ministers.
Ordainment for all other professional clergy services are available through an educational and video production of sermons, officiating weddings, funeral services, and pre-marital counseling; that will prepare you for a legitimate professional ordainment. This is not just an internet paid ordainment. You are provided the best training in your journey as official ministers. We do everything we can to make sure that you are a successful minister of God.

PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT: Certified Ministers receive professional web site to promote their optional Christian Counseling Practice; Acts "Minister" business cards at their full-time employment promotion, including Acts personalized email account, professional web site for Certified Christian Counselors and Ordained Ministers, and other promotional materials as they become available.

Scripture confirms that our money is His to begin with...
the discipline is a cognitive issue but the amount is a heart issue. At Acts we give to support each other, bring unity in Christ, and only then will we make disciples of the world.
“But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you [God], and of your own have we given [back to] you.” –David, 1 Chronicles 29:14
We are often asked questions regarding stewardship or the financial strategy of the Acts Discipleship Ministry. It’s a critical subject because people want to know what the Bible teaches about giving, how much they should give, and how the church uses HIS money. We hope to answer your questions here about Stewardship and not what we think about tithing but what does God ask of His people. Then, as a Church Family, we ask God what we should do with our new income, our new opportunities for mission service, community outreach, recreational ministries, and wherever we are called by Jesus to GO and make disciples.
Employee training is free and we encourage our ministers to tithe to their home church and continue to make offerings to Acts in support of their ongoing career as disciplers and leaders.
New Disciples are required to make a minimum weekly offering of $28 for a short time of training until they are Certified Discipleship Ministers. Subsequent with employment at Acts the $28/week becomes optional and can be deducted from their monthly expense account.
